Star Trek: Starbase 777 - security-corridor

Ah, now this... this was a bit of a bloodbath. If anyone on the team had wondered where the most of the dozen of Romulans were - here lay their answer. The armoury was to the side, while straight ahead were the doors to the Chief Security office. Perhaps it would be good to check the bodies, first?

“Great.. more bodies. I’ll check these out.” Was the first thing she said coming into this hallway. She walked over to a body to scan it with her tricorder.

Aoife raised her rifle as soon as the copper heavy scene of romulan blood filled her nostrils. She gingerly stepped into the hallway looking for anything out of place, like a half borgified body waiting to jump out at them.

No half-borgified bodies... fortunately? As for Halcyon's examination - stabs, stabs galore! Even an untrained eye could tell that these wounds seemed to be... aggressive. Almost personal. Done with a very clear intent of murdering. Asides from that... nothing too out of place.

While Aoife had her rifle in hand she turned it back to stun from its max setting, best not to disintegrate someone if it could be avoided. "Hey lieutenant, it might be a good idea to turn your phaser back to stun if you haven't already." After dropping that sentence Aoife stepped farther forward and turned rapidly on her heel to clear the armoury. Rifle raised she stepped slightly into the room, still firmly half in the hallway.

“Whoa.. these wounds are.. agressive. Whoever was killing these guys, it was personal. But no signs of assimilation.” She said, setting her phaser back to stun. She followed Aoife into the armory.

After inspecting the armoury, team two only had one other place to inspect here - namely, the doors straight ahead of them.

Off toward the doors Aoife went!

Aoife walked back into the hallways, keeping her rifle up not trusting anything now the ship was at warp.

At some point, the ship had slowed herself down, now zooming through space at her regular speed, engines rumbling like a cat's purr.

"Did we drop out of warp?" Aoife asked to her away team. As she walked towards the lifts.

Aurisk listened to the hum of the ship. “Yes, it seems we did,” they replied. They wondered what made the ship jump to warp in the first place…
